Watchtower desktop 0.1.1 (build 8) LINUX BUILD 8 — DESKTOP RELEASE COMPANION The two Linux app files include exact checksums, notices and source materials. Terms for new desktop downloads, published/effective September 27, 2026: https://watchtowerhome.com/terms/desktop/WT-DESKTOP-TERMS-2026-09-27/ Existing preview terms and existing-user acceptance remain unchanged. Mac build 8 WITHHELD: the signed/notarized 0.1.1 (8) candidate has a confirmed native startup defect: sandbox service registration is denied and incorrectly reported as already running. The separate corrected Mac build 11 is provided in the sibling v0.1.1-build11 directory and linked from the parent download page. It passed basic native lifecycle and notarization checks, not physical camera/network/audio/endurance acceptance. No old Mac binary is distributed. Do not delete user data or disable macOS security to bypass prompts. Linux: Ubuntu 24.04 x86-64; not qualified for ARM or older distributions. Secret Service is required for credential operations. Exact clean install, same-version reinstall, native headless startup, remove and purge passed inside an isolated container. Physical camera, live-peer video/audio, GPU/Wayland and long-duration scenarios remain unverified. Cross-version upgrade is not claimed. LINUX WEBRTC SOURCE STATUS CORRECTION The historical SOURCE-AVAILABILITY.md embedded in the Linux packages said WebRTC sources were pending. These companion notes supersede that status: the component source set is assembled and verified as the following TWO files. Both are adjacent to this document in the download directory and linked individually from its parent download page: https://watchtowerhome.com/downloads/v0.1.1-build8/Watchtower-Linux-WebRTC-pinned-Git-inputs-20260919-PRIVATE.tar.gz https://watchtowerhome.com/downloads/v0.1.1-build8/Watchtower-Linux-WebRTC-recipient-supplement-20260927.tar.gz Watchtower-Linux-WebRTC-pinned-Git-inputs-20260919-PRIVATE.tar.gz 1544736567 bytes SHA-256: 6380c33cd582274639afccab4c8432b6d9daa7b9fff2f0b6bc9fe9769d2d4f90 Watchtower-Linux-WebRTC-recipient-supplement-20260927.tar.gz 204081 bytes SHA-256: 10b32a396e7e835bed8f92e2375b14d7949f49657795cc56093c920d86112d79 The 204 KB supplement alone is NOT the complete source. The retained PRIVATE filename is historical custody, not a restriction on open-source rights. The Linux packages also contain the separate mpv/FFmpeg and MPL sources and component notices. App terms cannot restrict third-party license rights. Convenience helpers were not separately run as a fresh internet-to-artifact clean-room pipeline; actual native build/replacement-startup evidence is supplied. SHA256SUMS contains exact hashes for all four Linux app/source downloads. The source components do not include proprietary Watchtower application source. Windows is unfinished and no Windows package is provided in this release stage. Support: mediahostingltd@gmail.com; +972524697777; watchtowerhome.com/support/ MediaHosting LTD, Israel.
